and/or energy efficiency improvements

If your A/C is older than 8 yearsDon’t wait until 2023 to replace it!

For most clients, now is the best time to replace your heating and air conditioning system. Here’s why:

  • New 2022 tax credits – The new Inflation Reduction Act put 2022 tax credits in place for heating & air condition systems and energy efficiency improvements.
  • 2023 Department of Energy equipment standards mandate price increases & makes it illegal to sell certain 2022 equipment in 2023.
  • Manufacture’s fall rebates have just been announced
  • APS/SRP rebates; and
  • REEIS tax credit match and cash discounts.

If your taxable income is over $132,00 per year or you have more than one system to replace, now is definitely the time to schedule a free estimate. You can take advantage of 2022 and 2023 incentives but you need to act soon. Some programs are expiring October 1st.

New programs are available in 2023

The 2022 Inflation Reduction Act created multiple new tax credit and energy efficient and electrification improvements rebate programs. Although the rebate programs are not in place today, the federal government has announced the funding approval and program guidelines. Multiple new programs will be available to low to high income households.

For Phoenix or surround municipality homeowners with a taxable income below approximately$132,000***, it may make sense to wait for the 2023 programs. Programs rebates/incentives are capped at one system so homeowners with 2 or more heating & air conditioning systems should consider taking advantage of 2022 and 2023 incentives by planning their project accordingly.
